What are Base Frames?
Base Frames are your core frame style, complete with lenses. They come in a variety of materials, including stress-tested, hand-polished acetate, “mixed material,” and full metal options. All Base Frames feature a universally fitting nose bridge, adjustable temple arms, and flexible, spring hinges.
What are Top Frames?
Top Frames are lightweight, swappable plastic frames that do not include lenses. These magnetically attach to the top of your Base Frames so you can easily switch up your style!
How do Top Frames stay connected to Base Frames?
Top Frames and Base Frames have small magnets in their corners to connect them, making swapping easy and fun! Our lightweight magnets are safe and doctor-approved.
Are magnets safe to wear on the face?
Not to worry, the magnets used in our frames are safe to wear on your beautiful face! Our magnets won’t affect your eyesight, interfere with pacemakers, trigger airport security alarms and are harmless to electronics. The magnets may contain up to 1% nickel, common in neodymium magnets. If you have medical concerns, please consult your doctor before purchasing.
